আরও থাকছে মারকুইজ রাজার দরবার থেকে ফেরার পথে এক শিশুকে ঘোড়ার চাকার নিচে পড়ে মারা যায়। সেখানে মারকুইজ একটি সোনার মহর দিয়ে সেখান থেকে এসে পড়ে এবং গরিব লোকদের ইদুর বলে ভর্ৎসনা করে। সেখান থেকেও অসন্তোষ ছড়িয়ে পড়ে।
