নৃবিজ্ঞান নিয়ে একটা বই খুঁজছিলাম, পেয়ে গেলাম। তত্ত্বীয় নৃবিজ্ঞান। চাহিদার পুরোটা না মেটাতে পারলেও মোটামুটি প্রয়োজন পুরো হয়ে যাবে। যে জন্য নৃতত্ত্ব বিষয়ক বই তালাশ করছিলাম, তার ছিটেফোঁটাও বইটাতে নেই। এই বইয়ে কেন, কোনো বইয়েই থাকার কথা নয়। বর্তমান নৃতত্ত্বের পুরোটাই দাঁড়িয়ে আছে ডারউইনের বিবর্তনবাদ তত্ত্বের উপর। অর্থাৎ সৃষ্টির শুরুতে মানুষ বর্তমানের অবস্থায় ছিল না। বর্তমান অবস্থায় আসতে অনেক বিবর্তন প্রক্রিয়া পার হতে হয়েছে। মানুষ এবং অন্যান্য প্রাণী সৃষ্টির শুরু থেকে বর্তমান রূপে আসার প্রক্রিয়া এবং মানুষ ও প্রাণীর শ্রেণিবিন্যাস ইত্যাদিই মূলত নৃতত্ত্বের অন্যতম আলোচ্য বিষয়। সৃষ্টির এই প্রক্রিয়া ইসলাম সমর্থন করে না। বর্তমানে প্রচলিত নৃবিজ্ঞানের প্রায় পুরোটাই ইসলামের বিপরীত অবস্থানের উপর দাঁড়িয়ে আছে। ইসলামি দৃষ্টিকোণ থেকে নৃবিজ্ঞানকে দেখেছেন—এমন বই বাংলা বা আরবিতে চোখে পড়ে না; ইংরেজিতে থাকতে পারে।
